BJ's Makeup Tips ~ Budget Buying

How do I update my make-up without spending a fortune?
Shelly, MI

When companies are pushing new colors and textures for the season, PLEASE, don¹t wear them if you don¹t wear them well. Instead, add a dot of a color shadow in the middle of your eyelid or the inside corner of your eye to pickup a new bright color for the season. You don¹t need four new shadows! Lipliners with conditioner or gloss on lips are great. Skip the lipstick and just use your lipliner all over first, for that depth of color.

BJ's Makeup Tips ~ Day to Night in a Flash

How can I change my day make-up into night make-up quickly before I leave the office?
Barbara Armonk, NY

Add a little deeper shadow to your eyes. Possibly add an eyeliner pencil inside your eye. You can always take your blush brush and brush over your eyes. It tends to blend everything together and give you a little more of a dramatic look. Deepen up your lipstick a bit, and add some gloss.

BJ's Makeup Tips ~ Foundation

I tan my body, but not my face. Do you recommend anything in particular to even out my skin tone without having a line around my face?
Rori, OH

If you wear foundation, use the shade that matches your face and then take a color, maybe four shades darker (depending on how dark your body is). Apply it in your t-zone, which is your forehead, nose and chin, and slightly blend it outwards. When you then look at your face and body, they will blend, so you don't have a place face on top of a tan body.
